This precious nectar is produced in 50 hives scattered across the estates of Le Macìe and Sant’Alfonso. It is made from numerous species of flowers – both wild and cultivated – found on our estates, and encapsulates all of the properties of the plethora of nectariferous essences of which it is composed. Our honey embodies the uniqueness of the geographical area where it is made, and is indicative of our quality-focused approach to agriculture. Bees are, in fact, very sensitive to climatic changes and to the quality of the surrounding environment, and we have been raising them from the outset not simply to produce honey but also because we believe in sensible, sustainable agriculture.
